Wow. When I watched the film, my immediate reaction to Erik's despair was to take his hand away from his face and look at him to prove that he wasn't the monster he believed himself to be. This is very close to my reaction. Incidentally, I am listening to Music of the Night at this very moment. Beautiful song. Anyway, I don't think that Erik would have reacted quite so openly to Christine, but I liked this. Good job.
