So, how is a dragon heartstring "freely given"?

I was hoping that when Dawn cast "STUPIDFIE" the effect on the demon would have been like Lockhart's fate.

FastFrank I don't know how a dragon freely gives a heartstring. Ask J. K. Rowling, *she's* the one who came up with that point about Ollivander wand cores and how they are all freely given, including dragon heartstrings. I was just playing in her universe and following her rules.

I'm not going to say I'm mad the story wasn't finished. It was one of the better HP crossovers that I've read to date. That being said, it would have been nice to have a warning in the FIRST chapter that it had been discontinued. I would have loved to read this all the way through but I know that life can sometimes get in the way of writing (lord knows I have plenty of stories that can attest to that fact)... anyway... Awesome job on the crossover. Now I'll have to see what other stories you have written :)

I know it's been a long, long time but I am holding onto the tiniest bit of hope that you'll finish this one day. It would be the biggest shame to let it go unfinished!

This is a good story. It's actually pleasant to read, and has a good tone - two things frequently missing from fanfiction. (usually there's no point to reading every word, and the tone is like the dark and depressing alternate universe, as opposed to the balanced adventure that I liked the original material for)

I'm really looking forward to any new chapters, as long as you avoid the other fanfiction pitfall, of having a plodding story with no conflict that spends dozens of chapters going nowhere (as opposed to a beginning, middle, and end). So far it seems like you're good, with the opening action, the bit of backstory, etc.

Anyway, bottom line is you've got 99% of the content on this site beat already, and I was enjoying it until I got to the end. :(

Wow, sounds like you've been through a lot, hope everything is going well for you now.

Anyway, I know what you mean about finishing stories, it's a hard thing to do, I am yet to finish any of the stories that I have started. My theory is: It doesn't matter how long it takes, just as long as you finish it.

Lol, that's why I've been on the one story for about 3 years and still haven't finished it, but I still pop out chapters occasionally... actually it's been about 6 months since my last update.

Anyway, the point of this is, I'd love to see more of this story and see it finished eventually, but just take your time and do it when it's a good time for you. :)

First of all, let me offer my condolences on the loss of your father. It is a terrible experience regardless of the ages of the one who died or the one(s) who have to live on. Both my parents have been gone for quite some years and I still feel the loss, even at my age.

On to more pleasant things... Quite a nice chapter. I enjoyed the interplay between Harry and Dawn. Keep up the good work.

Hang in there sweety, this story is REALLY good and it would be a real waste if you did'nt keep going..

That said I really feel for you as I've had alot of problems trying to get work and I refuse to live off the govenment! What Im trying to say is my thoughts are with you and I hope you get a new job soon and all the advice I can give about loss is I know it hurts, and with time (it dose'nt go away) It just gets easier to handle - Try to remember all the good times you had and all the laughs you laughed and one day you may laugh at a memory instead of crying. My thoughts and sympathys are with you.
