Lee hadn't taken it well. Me neither! The case with Khai upset the apple cart something fierce. They were both sad and grieving; still missing each other fiercely. Pleased with your conclusion and so is Dotty.

"Wow!" says I with a crooked grin. I would have loved to seen this as an episode. My emotions run bittersweet with fond memories of this show. You really touched my heart. Very fine writing style, a true gift!

I read this many years ago and recently stumbled on it again, much to my delight. Even though you broke canon, you added a wonderful addition to season four by having Lee and Amanda break apart for awhile.

They had some soul searching to do and you provided a convincing scenario. Your hospital scene made a very touching reunion. Bravo.

I really liked it. I would have liked to have seen more of the interaction between Billy and Lee - they're supposed to be really good friends - but this is a more realistic scenario than the actual season had.

Wonderful story! I was almost in tears at the beginning, their pain was so real. The description of Lee only moving once in five hours ... it just tugged at my heart. The characterizations were true, the story so believable. Please write more!
