Was a cute little fic! :) I'm not familair with the Aqualord series (was it ever translated to english?) But have heard some about it. Was nice to get a feel for one of the characters.

And for Amelia to get reassured she is a needed part of the group was nice. (I hate Amelia haters. They need a fireball to the face ;p )

This is a very sweet little story and a perfect insight not only into Amelia, but into the friendships she has with Zelgadiss and Lina. I had to go seek out the summaries for Knight of the Aqualord to understand it, and I need to go ahead and order this series. It looks like Amelia gets to grow as a character a lot during this, and maybe it is to prepare her for eventually meeting Zelgadiss again. I would love to see the chapter with L/G in the forest with the illusions animated.

Anyway I found you b/c you apparently have me on your faves. Could it be? Am I faved because of a Slayers fic and not for The Untouchable? Do they not completely suck after all? HUZZAH!

Well seeing as I've never heard of the manga, nor have I read any of the manga except one with Naga and the 2nd Slayers novel (mostly due to the fact that I'm broke usually, and that there is so much anime to buy and so little time), I'm a bit at a loss of who they are character wise (how they act etc). I'm glad you covered them somewhat tho. I'm guessing from the "fifth wheel" comment that I can assume that Lyos is a guy? You didn't mention it. [That I don't add anything to the team] This comment following the "fifth wheel" comment seems a bit out of place but it's probably just me. Amelia meant that Shizuri and Lyos were "in love" like Lina and Gourry are (to me anyway), so why would Amelia have said that comment if she meant that, and not the opinion that she doesn't contribute much? Lastly, I ask due to Amelia's same comment, is there L/G in that manga series? Very interesting start, and nice job. It'll be fun to see where you go from here.

Sunny: we know that there is a manga about a new series of slayers, but we never saw it.
