Very, very clever. You captured Joe Fox's character and voice very admirably. His wit and sarcasm as well as the whole spirit of that epiphany scene.

I don't think that he decided on the plan right away. I believe that he actually was on his way to tell her right away, but then he chickened out and then decided on the spot to make the plan.

I like the extra thoughts of Joe's but it seemed like I was reading a scene directly from the movie. I wasn't really sure where the story was going. I hope there is more to this story, because it looks promising.
