Reviews for Sometimes
Moonlightnight101 chapter 1 . 5/6/2013
sad but good story
BakerStreetIsLastRefugeOfHope chapter 1 . 6/23/2009
A great story. Very good.
Deyinel chapter 1 . 11/18/2008
Wow, this is really deep and emotional. I loved it and it gave me the shivers. Wonderful insight, and a very different look at the movie, yet somehow it fits with the darker parts I noticed when I watched the Disney movie.

An excellent oneshot, well done!
Neverland Fairy chapter 1 . 8/17/2007
This is a wonderful, heart-wrenching piece of work. I very much enjoyed reading it through. I have a nitpick, though-in the seventh paragraph, you say "Proving that Master Frollo was infallible was like being forced..." I think you actually mean "fallible" here, unless I've misread.

Also, you can't copyright this piece-it's based on the Disney version (I assume this because it says he is guided by the influence of Phoebus and Esmeralda, which couldn't happen in the book) and you cannot therefore copyright it.

Again, though, a lovely work-you explore the father/son attachment of Quasi to Frollo with real passion. Write on :-).
HeylinWarrior666 chapter 1 . 1/28/2006
Ah, a beautifully done insight into Quasimodo's thoughts on his deceased master. Very, very "human" ideas in your writing. In the book, he in fact does miss his master to a certain extent considering he was his "friend" for a long time. In the book, the friendship between the two is a little more believable. Bravo!
Guille van Cartier chapter 1 . 8/25/2005
This is a beautifully written piece of work, wonderfully detailing Quasimodo's feelings. The fact that he missed Frollo is very realistic and it matches his nature well. It was even that way in the book, I think, after Quasimodo killed Frollo. I was going to write something of the sort, but it appears you got to it first... well, it's all for the good! I never would have been able to have written it so well!
Mizamour chapter 1 . 8/13/2005
Oh, this is great...really shows the relationship between Quasimodo & Claude Frollo...awesome. This is great.
almostinsane chapter 1 . 8/13/2005
Great story!
Maleficent Angel chapter 1 . 8/11/2005
I wish more people would recognise that Quasi would miss Frollo when he's no longer around - I'm sure that Victor Hugo would approve as he dispensed of the need for Quasi to try and survive without Frollo rather than deal with the necessary emotional fallout.

A very good one-shot which I won't say I enjoyed reading because that sounds a little sick given the subject, but I confess to one of those "Oh wow..." feelings whilst reading. Poor little Quasi. And well done you!

Thanks for your review by the way - it was the proverbial kick-up-the-behind I needed to stop being lazy! Not that I mean that in a bad way at all, please don't get that idea.

Keep on writing... :-)
The Maine Coon Cat chapter 1 . 5/25/2005
A sad story. Beautifully written.

This is going on my favorites.
Spaztic Arwen chapter 1 . 4/23/2005
an interesting perspective of Frollo & Quasi's master/servant relationship. great job
random person chapter 1 . 4/19/2005
So sad and beautiful...Probably true, too. It's hard to adjust to something like that.
Cathy chapter 1 . 4/11/2005
Nice fic :) Very nicely written. I'm always happy to find some HonD fics here, there definitely aren't enough of these here at !
FallenWraith chapter 1 . 4/10/2005
that was pretty neat. i don't think i've ever seen a fic like this. quasi actually feeling regret over Frollo's death. kinda makes me wonder what would have happened if Frollo had been the one to faint in the end of the movie and not quasimodo. would quasi have tried to save him?
An Anti-Sheep Cheese Muffin chapter 1 . 4/10/2005
very well written I was surprised to find a hunchback ff real fast (I've just finished watching the movie and I wanted to read some ff on it) keep it up _
