Wonderful story and fully in the spirit of Tolkien.

Now why am I not surprised by Sam's actions. After all, this is the same Hobbit who faced up to and beat Shelob, armed with just a short sword and the lamp given by Galadriel. Hobbits should not be underestimated and Sam has the courage of a lion.

This was an amazing story from start to finish! Your description of setting and characters were really well done, and I adored how fluid and Tolkien-ish the dialogue was.

I could go on for days about how much I loved the friendship you made grow between Sam and Legolas. Sam doesn't often get the love he deserves, and he really was a hero, in book and film. Legolas surprised me in how caring he was of Sam - and vice versa. You played their strengths and their weaknesses beautifully, and I loved their relationship!
