I love the quote - it's going in my list! *happy dance* And ... NEVILLE! I love Neville. He's just so ... adorable, and ... crap. I can't describe it - courageous and scared and timid and brave all at once. When I think Neville, I think of two things, both in first year - him crying, huddled up outside the common room because he forgot the password and is frightened of the Bloody Baron; and when he threatens to fight the trio to keep them from getting Gryffindor (and themselves) in trouble again. Your fic captures this quite nicely. Applause! Applause and pickle sandwiches for thee!

wow - that is very neville-ish LOL very very well written, kind of comical. stayed the characters very well. great way to portray the sorting hat. very well written story - i truly enjoyed reading it.

And I will enjoy re-reading it, if you decide to revise. But as it is now, I liked it. Because he does try to be brave and stand up for himself.

amazing. i really liked it. the way you protrayed this is so accurate to the story, i think it will always be in my head as how Neville came to gryffindor. I think he's going to end up playing a major part in the last books - did you notice him in the DA... and, of course, theirs the prophecy. great story.
