I love your writing style! You manage to create such vivid scenes in just a few words, whilst still leaving a lot to the readers imagination.

I really like all of the imagery you've included in this one, and how all of the metaphors are linked, and I love the hint of Regulus/Sirius at the end.

OK, I've changed my mind - a Regulus completely fascinated with muggle chalk is even cuter. And I really like how you ended this, not explicitly saying what they were doing but still making it pretty obvious.

Regulus blushing is just the cutest thing ever! I love how he's all annoyed at Remus but all it takes is one laugh and he's completely over it.

Wow... That brought tears to my eyes at the end... Damn! I love Regulus so much. You write him well, even drunk. :) And Remus too, Remus is very much like himself.

I think that these snapshots in time are made all the more powerful by the fact that they're drabble length, rather than drawing them out, because by just showing us the photograph, the reader can make up their own interpretation.

This particular fragment feels like a classic Regulus/Remus interaction to me. The way Regulus still triesto deny, even in the face of all evidence being to the contrary, and the way Remus just takes it in his stride, with his customary style, so that he talks down Regulus, without being condescending.

These fragments are too cute.

Sorry I haven't found the story before. Blushing!Regulus, in his own peculiar way, fits perfectly, especially how he thinks that he's so unshakeable in his mindset, only to have it shattered by an action as simple as a smile. The way he reacts to this is also pricless, yet Remus takes it with good humour, causing Regulus to melt again.
