This piece is unusual in a good way, we normally don't get the chance to get inside character's heads to see them reflect on events that got glossed over in the canon. Nice.

I can never resist reading these post movie fics that discuss and deal with the deaths of all those major characters... I suppose, in a way, it helps me cope as a fan. I was eight years old when the movie came out and even though I'm more than old enough to be over fictional character death now, seeing them fall again everytime I see the movie always makes me upset. Anyway, this is a great fic, despite the fact that it's short. My only concrit would be that some of the words are running together here and there, but that may just be 's crappy editor deleting spaces. :P
