I know this review comes a couple of years too late, but I try to review every good story no matter when it was written... so yeah, I liked this one a lot. It was interesting to learn about Roy's past and it's quite an neat twist that you made him not a full fledged alchemist but rather an apprentice during the Ishvar war. And Kimbley was great too (I love how you write his character). I don't know whether you'll ever pick this one up again (a girl can hope, yes? ;) ), but even if you don't it was a most pleasurable read - thank you for writing it!

HRM...how interesting, the beginnings of the Flame Alchemist. I will admit I haven't seen every episode of FMA...although I do have all the episodes and have browsed, I'm going to assume that most of the elements of these chapters are of your own creation. While Roy having little to no luck with guns was expected, I like how the scene played out. The scene at the end was very well done too. I can't wait to see what happens next!

Ooh...an awesome story. I'm quite ashamed that I haven't been keeping up with the chapters. ANyway, after finally reading the story, I am just floored by the FEEL of the story. You really do an excellent job of just bringing us to Ishvar and the hellish life that the characters have to deal with. The closest thing that I can relate the feeling of reading this story to is seeing an epic war film. Where aside from the brutal fight scenes, you get this image of the people behind the soldiers and how they deal with their surreal existance. Anyway, I can't wait to see how things go next chapter, and I'm looking forward to when roy finally meets riza. Keep up the good work!
