I really like how you've portrayed Akaya, particularly with the line 'sometimes he just felt like he needed to be exactly what he was: a thirteen year old boy who just wanted to have fun and be appreciated by those he admired.' because that seems to be what people in this fandom forget most.

Yup, even thought Akays is demon on the courts he is still a 13 year boy who needs and wants attention.

I guess Yukimura is the best to handle him.

I like this story as it shows the softer side of Akaya. I guess anyone with Yukimura will tend to show his softer side.
