I'm just beginning to read this story and I already love it!

I just wanted to warn you that I've skipped over this story before and not bothered with it because the title makes it sound like a crack fic, which it doesn't seem to be so far. Just letting you know.

I read and reviewed this story about a year ago. I still love it. Sabe and Jahn are great. It's such an enjoyable read - action, romance, humor - everything! Great characterizations. I cared about all the characters.

Are you writing a sequel to this? I really want to read your version of Ep I!

Again, this is one of my fave stories. I love it.

I loved this story! It is easily one of the best alternative Episode II fics I have ever seen. I actually read it all in one sitting last night, staying up much later than I ought to have, and going to bed without fashioning a review. But today I realized it wouldn't be fair not to at least drop you a little line to tell you how much I enjoyed it. One part that especially stood out in my mind was in Chapter 12 - Beru's remark on whether Padme kissed all her brothers that way. I couldn't help but think of the infamous Luke/Leia kiss in ESB! Overall, as I said, this was fantatic. Is it too much to hope for, or might there be an Episode III in this timeline? I certainly hope so.

If Anakin doesn't blame the Jedi for his mother's death and for not accepting his love for Padmé, I think he'd

still be weary of letting his kids (if he had any) be trained in the temple. He'd probably want them to love and know their

family. That's if he doesn't turn, though. Even though they seemingly accepted him back at the end, his

resentful feelings wouldn't just vanish IMO. Cause I agree, if they'd just let him go a little earlier, a week, even

a day. Oh well.

Another good part was when Anakin and Padmé were talking on Tattooine, him about how he never fit in

with anyone at the Temple. How they were all raised there since birth. I think that's one of the main reasons

he turned. He never really had any connection to them, didn't really think of them as his family.

Also how you dealed with Palpatine. He plays the nice guy very well, really manipulative and clever. It's

shown very well throughout. Old Palpy is very good at deducing people's weaknesses and exploiting them,

with Anakin's mother. Now he'll probably try and do the same with Padmé some how, maybe using Anakin's

already growing resentment of the counsil to aid in that? Hmm...more soon!

I've always wondered if Padmé or even Anakin knew how his mother came to be pregnant. It doesn't seem

like he got his temper from his mother. Maybe the Force get antsy now and then. *g*

When Owen finally stomped down on his pride and asked Anakin to stay with him and Beru, that was really

very touching. Sweet even. He was looking for some way to repay Shimi and felt something brotherly between

himself and Anakin. :)

Obi-Wan's story is pretty interesting too. He clearly does care for Anakin, but he's the perfect Jedi Knight.

He wouldn't dream of going against the counsil for anyone, he's just not like Qui-Gon or Anankin for that

matter. Portrayed that really well here.

((He had stopped meditating at all since his mother's death. He had tried once, the night before he

and Padmé and Sabé left the Lars' farm, and what he had felt frightened him so badly that he hadn't

had the courage to try again. Cold, black thoughts. An unbelievably searing heat, burning him alive.

Harsh, raspy breathing. Padmé, older, wiser, and sadder.))

I missed this the first time, hmm...very shadowing. Him falling into the lava, then with the mask and Padmé

as Leia described her. *sob*

*g* I think I missed this too, Adi caught him looking into the female Padawan locker rooms? *g*

Still love the practise fight scene between Padmé and Anakin, v. funny.

Overall the tone of this fic seemed serious with jokes around, but not enough to take away from the serious parts. Really good imo.

This really is a phenomenal story! I'm glad I stayed up the extra hour to finish it! (: Your take on the characters is believable, your plot intricate and well thought-out, and your writing superb. I eagerly await the sequel! Don't make us wait too long.
