This actually caught my eye because it reminded me of the song 'Mother Tongue' by Leah Andreone. I'm glad I read this because it was well written, if not my taste. I did add it to the One Shot and Completed Severus Snape Fanfiction C2 though because I'm sure the people there will enjoy it. By the way, I love the way you wrote Remus and the final sentence was wonderful.

Well, I must admit I got pretty confused. Remus and Sev were injured, Sev had Remus in his embrace, but Sev died first?

Not *normally* a Remus/Severus shipper but it came up in another fic and I decided to see what else there was. *Really* glad I found your fic.

"In their language love has the final word because death is the final gesture, and Severus . . .Severus spoke first."

That last line is just perfection. The way the whole fic builds up towards it, cutting between Remus' memories, and what's happening on the battlefield, is beautifully done. Good work!

Now this wa really beautiful. I like their concept of language... and "I love you" being fatal like the Killing Curse... actually, the last paragraph was just amazing... and the last words SO sad. and beautiful.
