I think I've discovered the upside to ASP leaving out the important moments on the show - it leaves us to fill in the blanks with something even better. And that last bit on porch and the half - said I love you's - completely and absolutely wonderful.

i kinda like it. i really liked the beginning - very real - and the rest pretty much followed suit. its a nice lil piece, i think you capture the private luke/lorelai better than most. but definately a fave story.

OMG! I really, really love this story! I've been reading all of the "Luke and Lorelai get back together" stories, and most of them were pretty good, but they all left me with a kind of feeling, like there was something missing there. This story captured everything, and it left me feeling really happy. Great story!

What a great take on the end of 5.16! No matter how many of these I read, it doesn't get old. You did a really good job with the uncertainty both are still feeling and with communicating their emotions.
