Ahh... 'Mystery Tour'. To tell you the truth, I have read this centuries ago. But I haven't been able to review though (obviously). Sorry about that. My netbook wouldn't let me log in then. :( But really, I loved this story. The plot and everything was awesome! ;) And as the name says, it really is... 'mysterious'.

I just found this story, and I'm glad I did. It was short, yes, but it needed to be. This is the ultimate one-shot, saying much more than the words let on. I was surprised to find it was Harry's Mum and Dad talking to him, and it really impacted me when the last line was written. When he opened the door and walked out of an empty compartment. The sheer angst of that, of his story, of his life, just hit me there. That was a great story, DungeonWonk. Thanks.

That was a very well-written story. It was kind of sad though. I knew the two people weren't Ron and Hermione and somehow I guessed it was going to be Harry's parents... And that he sort of was 'talking to himself' in the compartment.

I don't really understand the part about the veil though. Harry's story seems like such a sad one from this point of view. Like everything's going wrong for him and he never gets what he really wants. I'd have to say the way you wrote it was rather touching... Extremely poignant, yet at the same time, essentially powerful.
