The contast in the relationship between Richie and Virgil and Richie and Randi is really well done. Also Randi's past, you did a good job creating an intereting character.

There were a few minor errors, grammer and spelling mistakes, (How she paid for it "he" didn't know), ("eyebrows" were thin), ("a" slightly baggy). Just noticed a lot in this chapter, don't know if you were in a rush or something.

Nice chapter. Started rather sad at the begging and I felt bad for Richie to. I hate it when parents or some other sort of authority figure, makes you believe in something that you don't. Good to see that Richie got to spend some time with V, Daisy, and Frieda towards the end of the chapter, and that he was kind of cheering up a bit.

You've doen a great job of getting inside Richie's head. I'm not sure I would have expected this sort of Richie from the series, but maybe if he was from the comics... Anyway, he's still a cool character in your story and Virgil seems very true to the show. I'll send more reviews as I get a chacne to read more.

Actually, my family is Protestant (I don't want anything to do with religion, but have now say in it until the end of summer when I'll be 18). Protestants are believers in Jesus as the Christ, but believe that the wafer in communion and the wine (or dark juice that some churches use instead) are only symbolic and not Jesus' actual flesh and blood. Protestants also do not believe that the virgin Mary is their mediator, whereas Catholics do. There are a few other differences, but I won't bore you anymore.

Um, yeah, drinking blood *is* an occult practice.

And I'd also have to go for either Buddhism or Wicca if I *was* eventually okay enough with religion to join one.

I noticed there seemed to be less of Richie smoking in the later chapters. Was that concious? I would think he would be smoking up a storm waiting for Virgil.

I also admire you're claim in the third chapter about using "my God" even though you're a "confused prodstant". I don't know what a prodstant is but I'm an atheist, let me tell you its great on this side of the ideological fence!

I also read your author bio. Are you really only thirteen? This is an amazing story for anyone, but for one so young this is some considerable talent you got here. Also a good, healthy outlet for all that teenage angst you got.

And, BTW, I noticed you refer to yourself as a lard ass, and as I've spent a good deal of time fighting annorexia and bulimia in young women I'm compelled to point out that you are only 13, please try to come to a healthy relationship with food in these critical years.

I was going to prepare one really good review after I read everything but I had to jump in and say how impressed I was on your knowledge of the lack of Rs' in the Boston accent. I once met some friends from Boston at a protest, and they tried to tell me that "We should go be pa't of the ma'ch, now, against the wa'. Talk to people about 'evolution and all, maybe they'll want to 'ead the 'evolutionay Woka'" (). I was like...whoa, what happened to you alls Rs':)
