There is one element that you rule: Vision. You write with such clarity, yet such blindness. I swear, you rip and tear at peoples minds, whiping them into submission. Damn you. I need more! *Scampers off to read more of your works*

Onigumo is probably one of the most difficult IY characters to write vividly and well; little is known about him, yes, but the big problem is that there are so many ways of interpreting his personality - he's a victim, he's a villain, he's someone to be ignored. This is the first time I've seen him written as a sort of cruel shapeshifter. I love the idea; he learns to "blend in" so that the damage he causes is that much more profound and unexpected. So cool. .

The 'then ' and 'now' references are great; confusing at first, but - after reading them twice - I recognized how smoothly they work with each other.

And Onigumo is perfectly portrayed. This little fic hints at everything he is: dangerous and cruel, but also very intelligent. It carries over from one form to the next, probably the only things about him that remain constant. It makes me wonder if he ever misses his old body, assuming that he is still aware in some way.

I'm amazed by your ficlets. To fit so many vivid images and so much musing on philosophy and character into such a small space takes a discerning eye on top of talent in writing.
