Daisy had, after all, started out as voluntary, and she remained one even now. I think you mean to say... There were so many humans after all, that it seemed (possible, completely possible, nearly credible... pick one) that several million, out of billions, could be persuaded. 2nd line. I don't think quite works. Perhaps say something like: Daisy had, after all, started out voluntary, if we got rid of yeerks like Jareth there should be no problem. I doubt Daisy would say she is truly Voluntary. She's more broken than anything else even now. She won't run because she knows it absolutely futile, not by choice. |
