Started in 2001? Holy shit how old is this website?

For anyone looking to read this story, a few things. It is long, very long. Also a forgotten story, incomplete. The first half is enjoyable and genuinely a great read. Once Link does the time skip however, the story fails me and i cringed reading it.

I mean no disrespect towards the author and their life’s issues but adult Link is like a manifestation of all the bitter angst, depression, and bullshit the author was feeling many, many years ago. The mood, personality... everything about the story and our main character is painful to read. Had i known the author would inject this kind of nonsense into Link, i wouldve never started this ridiculously long story. A lot of regrets, given how sour of a taste this left in my mouth.

Honestly, i wouldn’t suggest reading this. It is like a delicious cup of coffee, only to find the bottom full of grinds and a few drowned flies.

Link is being an idiot and I really want someone to slap some sense into him. DX

Never mind about it work gets in the way sometimes don't worry you will hopefully find the time to do the other chapters ignore the hated comments and keep going at what your doing and good luck in your career whatever you decide to do.

I know I am writing this in 2017 and years after you have probably forgotten about this fic, but I just wanted to say thank you for writing this because it is probably my favourite thing to read on the entire internet, It is so well written and the story is exactly how I would have written myself had I gotten the chance, thanks for everything of this that you worked on and it doesn't matter that you never finished it because I enjoyed it anyway, I love this story and thanks again!

Its been said before; but this is perhaps the best story that I have ever read, even taking into account mainstream books. In fact, this was easily the main inspiration for me becoming involved with writing myself. Its such a shame that you were unable to complete it. I know life happens to, I just hope you yourself are doing well. All I can say is thank you for such an amazing story! It would have been an honor to message you or, better yet, meet you in the flesh.

seriously where have you been for 7 years after you said you were sorry for lack of updates. did you pull out the master sword like come on and dont beat yourself up this has better than most books ive read so i know you probably wont continue but if you ever do ill be right there reading it.

honestly this story has been so good its in my favorite books ive ever read. and those were 800 paged books that are also in my favorite. i could read a 800 paged book in a day but this has taken me almost a week! plus i still have 3 chapters. this has made me feel concerned for link and feel sympathy for navi while hoping link x malon happens(my favorite zelda ship) all at once. thank you for this amazing story. i know you won't continue and since im near the end i feel dread that its over so soon. when i first discovered the story i stayed up till 6 in the morning and was like where did all that time go! i love the different perspective of hyrule and i LOVED the thought of links doppleganger emerging from his negative energy. im only 11 btw. so when im older and better at writing maybe ill try and continue the story so it can be finished but i can only hope to match this story so well cause while this had many typos i think your writing was flawless. again thank you.

I'm not going to ask you to finish this. Chances are you've heard it a hundred times... probably more judging from the review count. I just wanted to say, this story shows that you had an amazing talent as a writer. Your story has grabbed the attention of so many readers and that is no small feat. I've read dozens of authors whose books just sit in the library, gathering dust. You brought a world to life through your words so I'm just going to say this... don't waste your talent. Don't stop writing, no matter where your writing takes you now, and even if this story remains dead, keep writing.

I want to continue with the story. I want more of Legend of Zelda stories that don't follow the game. Where it not just about Link but others characters. Please continue or I will have to find other Zelda fanfic. please.

The farewell scene between Link and Saria was so well-written I got tears in my eyes :').

It has taken me a long time to finish reading this story, and honestly, it makes me really sad to have caught up with what was left.

I forgot how many years ago it was when I first read this fanfic. Of course, I don't need to say how much I fell in love with this story, as I am still reading it today. The story itself is very nostalgic; not just because of the game itself, but also because I've read this story on and off throughout the years and there are various parts of this story that I do remember and miss to this very day. I even plan on going back and rereading some of the chapters because of how amazing they were. This fanfic as a whole is amazing - and probably the best fanfiction I've ever read from any website. I just really wish this was finished... or at least alive, considering it's been just about nine years since it was last updated. A part of me is actually hoping that you have completed more chapters - and probably close to finishing the story - but are holding off publishing them for whatever reason you may have. Really, it's just wishful thinking.

Unfortunately, life happens and it tends to keep you busy. But shall there ever a day come when this fanfic receives another chapter - when it does come to life again - not only will I be reading with a huge beam on my face, I think I might even dance. Until then, it will remain in my favorites list where I can go back and reread chapters whenever I feel I miss this story too much. This is just one of those stories you just can't forget. At least, I know I won't forget it anytime soon.

Whether or not you really have moved on from this story: thank you. Thank you for all the excitements and enjoyments, and still keeping this story up even after years later. So far I can only imagine how beautifully this story could have tied up. Still, this is a beautiful fanfiction, and I really hope to see it continue once again.
