Awww, Genis! I really loved the flow and pacing of this. It really did sound like a sort of one-sided conversation, totally natural and somehow lonely. Thank you for writing it!

I must say I'm impressed. Wonderful, wonderful bit of prose, there. I love the spoken train of thought, it's really well done. You have a knack for writing, don't you dare give it up.

That was beautiful. You had the characterization down perfectly; I don't think you once said Genis's name, but anyone who has played the game would have no trouble guessing who it was. And all the events that have transpired since the war, what the various characters went on to do - it all fits them perfectly. (Well, Sheena's marriage is questionable, but it works.) I guess what I'm trying to say is that this is great and please keep writing.

I'm impressed. This is good. Obviously no chance of a sequel, but I'd like to see you do another work or two. Just one question: Why the Final Fantasy crossover? Midgar? Come on.
