This story has been one of my favorite anime 1.0 stories for many, many years. The little epilogue and last line are so poetic and lovely, it makes me sigh and smile every time I reread. Thanks for your beautiful work!

I was wondering if anybody else noticed that about Elysia's name. Also, another slightly obscure/crazy impossible pairing that's surprisingly adorable is RoyxTrisha. I've only found one fic like that but it was adorable!

Please excuse me. I'll just be sitting here, making a never-ending noise that might have passed for a high-pitched squeal if it was about twenty decibels lower.

Besides that, it was really very well-written. The tone is gentle and warm and soft, similar both to their romance and a particularly well-tempered kitten, and, well, it's just plain adorable. Very realistically developed and nicely structured.

And now I'm overwhelmed with the urge to illustrate this. May I, may I?

Wow...and it finally struck me by the time al turned back into a ten year old, he'll only be a few years older than elysia! great pairing...i guess we never think of it cuz she's so cute and babyish but...well written!

This! Yes, just...yes! dlkfjdlk I can't make words work for me, it seems ' What I'm trying to say is, I've always stubbornly held onto the belief that Al doesn't belong in any pairing, because none of them really seem to work (especially not Winry, who is most often paired with him). The closest it's ever come is Mei Chan from the manga, but even that seems more just for humor purposes, I think. But after reading this fic...I totally think AlXElysia could work! I COMPLETELY agree with "nice and quiet and sweet, without any big fireworks or drama...but that seems like the kind of romance Al would go for." So, yes; I agree with this pairing.

And your fic was written so well, as always! This is another one to go on my favorites, I think.
