Ok. Nancy’s idea of who/what the Tracy’s should be is hilarious!

Original characterisation and brilliant plot.

Got to be the most different version of the characters I've read yet. John isn't usually portrayed as argumentative. Interesting, and nicely written!

Again: great story! Loved the inner journey you had John take in order to figure out what he wanted to do with his life. The OC in the last chapter was pure genius, lol. Too bad he's mostly right. Anyhow, this is totally my new canon :).

I'm still a bit heartbroken that you left Alan completely out of the story. That's kinda what's missing to make this one of my all time faves... But as I said I really enjoyed it anyway. You rock the characterizations!

Wow. I'm REALLY impressed with this so far! I absolutely love your despricptions of the island and the moon. I could really see it in front of my eyes. You're really talented!

I was a bit confused that you made Virg the older brother here, cause he was younger than John in your other fic, but I actually prefer it that way, so - yay ;).

And I'm kinda in love with your John. I think I've really never read him portrayed like this - as the rebel who tried to get away from the Tracy empire. But I haven't watched the entire TV series, so I might be missing some canon facts. Anyhow, great job on him!

I really do miss Alan though. Hope you haven't left him out of the story completely... *bites nails*

Still, this is awesome!

I liked your focus on John in this fic. I haven't seen too many that describe his personality in this way. You painted such believable story about brothers and their actions. Truly wonderful reading!

Great Story, characters really believable, could you maybe do a one-shot to show how John got back to the island and into Thunderbirds please?

where is alan? when he will be in story?
prospectcarrier chapter 12 . 9/5/2005
Fun and intelligent. You have created an incredibly credible beginning for International Rescue.

I agree with the sentiments expressed by the previous multitude of reviewers: your writing style has special powers. It is as good as anything I have bought off a store shelf.

This story has so much to say and, as was the case with your previous stories, there is lots to think about after the story is over. For instance, I'm still debating with myself over the characterization of Hamilton Caine as an ordinary person. More enjoyable to think of are the many "easy" ways this piece could be made book length, and then imagining it as a best seller making the Tracys household names and role models, and fostering uprightness and goodwill throughout the world. Think what that could do for the wolves!

You write and the impossible seems possible.

I've been far to lax on getting a review in on this. Ratty, this is one great story. Poor John is going to defiantely want to be up on Five from now on just to get away from Hamilton Caine and his ilk.

I love the way you've built this story. This is not a picture perfect family, and John's struggles (ongoing obviously) are well depicted. I really enjoyed all of the relationships, and especially how Gordon helped sway John's decision. I also thought it was 'very John' to still leave in order to think out clearly what he wanted to do.

Your writing style is superb, as always, and your stories are clear and well crafted. I'm looking forward to your next one.

And as a side note, hope to have you join the four of us who went to Reno this year on our next jaunt. Your input would be incredible.
Flamin' June chapter 12 . 7/31/2005
This is splendid, and has earned my highest accolade - download and print.

Nice ending! I'd been wondering how you were going to get John to come on board. Hamilton Caine is a monstrous creature, and I could easily imagine someone as fundamentally decent as John Tracy wanting to do just the opposite of anything such a man advocated.

The original series and the recent film were a little light on characterisation, so there is plenty of room for the inventive fanfic writer to manoeuvre. Your take on the Tracys is convincing, funny and human - I could really believe that I was reading the conversations of brothers who love each other but nevertheless get on each other's nerves from time to time.

Your writing is a pleasure to read, and I look forward very much to reading future stories from you.
