Awww...I just now found your story and am loved it. This is one of the sweetest story about father-son relationship ever. I love Thranduil and his love for Legolas here is all kind of wonderful. Thanks for a good read.

Beautifully narrated. Thranduil's love for Legolas could be felt throughout the story. Well done writter! :)

Okay the first thing I want to say is that this is very well written. THere aren't a lot of spelling mistakes (you know the ones that could be easily remedied with Spell check?).

It's also one of the cutest things I've ever read about Legolas AND Thranduil. It seems like Thranduil is always some sort of enigma, and nobody really explores his point of view. Excellent job.

I also liked the Epilogue. I, like Lord Elrond, was laughing my head off when I read the first paragraph of Thranduil's letter in the first chapter and it's great to see Elrond's point of view of the very unconventional writing.

I was just wondering though...what happened to Legolas' mother?

Your story is so unbelievably awesome. It's great writing, with a great plot, and clear, crisp ideas. I adore your interpritation of young Legolas' personality, as well as that of Thranduil. Keep writing like this and before long I'll be buying your bestseller!

I find a 'new' writer to add to my list and the first story I read is evidently the last you wrote - 2 years ago. How sad. It is a wonderful story. Legolas' wide-eyed innocence is true to life and I especially liked the first paragraph in Thranduil's letter to Lord Elrond! "I wish you much triumph in sacking my palace, and will leave the keys to the stronghold on the desk in my study."

I hope you stopped writing because you wanted to and not because you had to.

I must admit I was really hoping to see Elrond's reaction to the first paragraph of Thranduil's letter at the end. Oh well! I really liked this story! It was really touching.

That was such a sweet, adorable story! The relationship between Legolas and Thranduil was really heartwarming. I liked Thranduil's letter to Elrond and how he told Legolas the story of how his father died at the end.

Aw! I loved this story! Very sweet, and I loved your portrayal of the first paragraph in the letter to Lord Elrond left me thinking 'Thranduil has a sense of humor? No way

!' Hehe, it made me laugh though. One thing was that I thought Legolas acting very mature for his age, but that could be because he is royalty, he was mature for his age, or maybe just because he's an Elf. Also, there's no mention of Legolas' mother, but it seems as if she was gone, especially by the way Thranduil acts. Anyway, I absolutely loved it.
