The Halliwell branch of magic (Charmed, specifically) is Wiccan-based, and does NOT differentiate between the sexes; even *I* get that - why don't the rest of you? (It is also why there are no female wizards in the HP universe - let alone male witches; they differentiate titling by sex in the UK and on the Continent - in North America, they don't. The HP universe is ALSO Wiccan-based - technically, all practitioners of the HP universe branch of magic - regardless of sex - are *witches* - even Dumbledore and Lucius Malfoy.) |
