I'm rereading this after many years. Still a lovely piece of fiction.
I love how evocative it is. In a small scene you manage to show the deep love between them, how much Eomer has grown both as a king and as a man, and how Lothíriel is his solace.

Your descriptions were simplistic yet still detailed enough to paint pictures in my mind. And the bath scene was adorable to the point that it made me smile. :) Haha and you may have inadvertantly made me an Elfwine fan.
