What an absolutely beautiful chapter! I love Hephaestion's family. Alexander's complete lack of hesitation in comforting Heph during the news about Elma brought a lump to my throat. Very well written.

My favorite line, "“Don’t you ever leave me Alexander!” He demanded. “ I would be lost. Just Lost! I could not bear it!”"

Hey. Just wanted to let you know I admire your stories very much and I've been following them for quite a time, even if I have never left a message. So... Well, the same applies to this one. After some wonderful but very sad story I read from another author, I really needed something sweeter, exploring the tender side of their relationship.

I really like this story.

Alexander feeling uneasy and shy is so great and so diffrent from anything else I have read so far. And Hephaistion being so happy and bouncy is a nice change from the collected and quiet Hephaistion. I love it.

It's sweet and light read despide the fact that Hephaistion's nanny might die. I think it's great that Hephaistion's parents are so exepting about their relationship.

Love the part where Alexander comforted a crying Hephaistion in front of this parents!

Really well done, I hope to read more soon!

Just beautiful! I loved this. The interaction bewteen Heph and Bucephalus was too funny, especially when Alexander apologized to the hourse for Heph's behavior. Alexander's anxiety was quite endearing, and so was dear Elma. Can't wait to read Chapter 2.
