IShipMaskyXHoodie chapter 2 . 4/17/2018 Wow. I guess, in a strange way it is a act of mercy but also a act of murder. I never expected it to be Mikey. I have to say that he is a good actor |
hiccup-mikey-robin chapter 3 . 8/15/2014 This is so wrong in so many levels. |
SleepingSeeker chapter 5 . 4/28/2014 This was well done. Solid story-telling, imo. And yes, I am a big fan of the movie Memento. Are you still around? On here, I mean. If you are, I hope you get this and we can chat sometime. I have written a number of 'darker' stories myself and the subject matter of this one really caught my notice. Great job! |
Nala162024 chapter 4 . 6/19/2009 I would be very concerned if I were Donny. |
Nala162024 chapter 3 . 6/19/2009 Wow, a drinky Leo and Mikey! lol. I would like to see them both drunk. I can just picture Leo trying to meditate and falling . |
Nala162024 chapter 2 . 6/19/2009 HOW DARE MIKEY! I kind of had a feeling it was him! |
L. A. Solvang chapter 5 . 8/12/2007 This story was amazingly different, and having it "backwards" was incredible powerful. Seeing people you love turn into someone they're not is a horrible experience. It's painful to see someone you knew as kind and caring turn into angry and abusive. I guess I'm saying I can actually understand why Michelangelo did what he did. Even if he'll have quite some hard times coping with his actions, not to mention if anyone where ever to find out what he did. The last chapter was just the "dot over the i", for me. That final touch to make it all come together, where it goes full circle and you just sit with with an "wow" feeling. Leo expressing, in a moment of exhaustion, that he wished his father had passed away was that for me. And Michelangelo was just the right turtle to overhear and decide he had to save everyone from the death that kept them all from living. |
The Magic Pocket Turtle chapter 5 . 3/12/2007 Beautiful. I love the story, and it's beautifully written. It's... what's the word, powerful? |
Amethiyst Rhodes chapter 5 . 2/22/2007 O.O Woah. Different. So. Different. Maybe it's better based on the old cartoons? *Not familiar w/ them* Anyways, that was awesome the way you wrote the story 'backwards'. It's a unique style that leaves a reader just clueless and hooked enough... Not something I'm to good with. -_-' But I'm happy to finally find another one of the few who can actually write a enjoyable FanFic. Congrats! |
A.R. Carpenter chapter 1 . 7/20/2006 I must say, the effect of this unusual format was used for the best effect in this fanfic. At first, I was shocked that Mikey - MIKEY, of all people - would kill Splinter. He almost seemed venomous, the way he thought that Splinter was a pain on the living. But as the story progressed, it revealed that Mikey was acting out of compassion. It was very well done. Looking back on it, what Mikey did was brave and nessecary. Wonderful fanfic. You should be proud. :) |
Tewi chapter 5 . 12/8/2005 whoa...cool! i love how you went backwords, it was weird but it was totally cool! great job! |
Cassie chapter 5 . 10/3/2005 Huh? So who killed Splinter? |
Redwaters chapter 5 . 2/28/2005 This story was really touching and I can relate to it. I can feel for what they are going through, because it has hit something close to home with me. Having to watch a love one change so much and wishing that they can finally let go is hard on anyone and everyone. As you've been told before, very nicely done. |
reviewer49 chapter 5 . 2/22/2005 Hi i'm guessing that it's dementia that Splinter is going through. Very brave of you to do the story backwards. To tell the truth, I've never read a backwards story prior to this and you did it really well. Mikey is a bit unpredictable at times but i can understand his motive. It's both cruel to the one dying and it's a release. |
Pretender Fanatic chapter 5 . 2/19/2005 Oh! That was so sad! A little hard to follow for the likes of me but not because it wasn't written well, only because I am out of practice of reading fics like that. It was great though dude! Great emotions! and I love how you didn't say what kind of sickness Master Splinter had... you just left it up to us to decide so you could give him what ever syptoms you wanted and you wouldn't be wrong. Great story! Nice work! Pretender Fanatic |
