Hello, I just wanted to say, that I read this a long time ago for the first time and remembered it until now. I needed exectly this feeling again and no other fic would do, so I searched the internet for it and is it as good as i remember. Thank you for writing this as beautiful as it is and for creating so deep feelings in characters that usually seem very distant.

I'm favouriting almost all your Kakashi fics I read. Brilliant. :) Really sheds more light to Kakashi and Gai's relationship.

Is Kakashi cutting? I never thought him the type to do that but now that I think about it he's gone through a lot at such a young age. Anyway, this was a great story to read!

Great job with Kakashi's psyche. This is completely in-characte, as is Gai and the dynamics between the two. I like the small details you place throughout the story that gives the reader a glimpse at Kakashi's thoughts:

"He waits a very long time, until it is completely silent again, before giving the door a nudge.

Kakashi has left it open. As always."
