   Goldberry chapter 1 . 8/16/2019 I come back and read this every year or so because it's so perfect in its anguish. In my mind's eye I see Obi-Wan and Luke becoming brothers in the force, fighting the darkness together. In this word, Obi-Wan is the Last Jedi and there is hope in that, here. Beautiful job. This will remain in my favorites for years to come. |

I can't imagine anything worse, than waking up 35 years in the future, everyone you know, but for one person, is dead, your home is in ruins, your galaxy has been changed, and you are the one that must fix the world. What could possibly be worse? That is a terrible burden for one person to bear, especially one so young. |

Y'know, if I only left one review for one story in my life, I believe that this story would be the one worthy of that single review. The plot-wow! The wording-beautiful! The flow-epic! I especially love, "It was akin to drinking air, breathing water, the moon high at noon." Wow *sheds a tear*. I wish I could write half that good. Seriously, if you're not already considering it, you should become a professional writer. Seriously. |

It's on par with the star wars movies. where almost all hope eventually seems to fade into the blackness that now consumes the universe. I love it. Obi-Wan is portrayed as human, with all too human grief and weakness holding him. This story would make a wonderful epic. Hope you become an author one day. |
