| WizMonCruWil chapter 17 . 1/9/2019 Hilarious that Rory walks in on Luke sleeping with her mother. And she isn't even bothered by it! I love how she and Luke come to an understanding here that they are now further bound together, as surrogate father and daughter, and will have those ties strengthened in the future! Rory knows that Luke will probably become her stepfather (by the way, her heart-to-heart with him about dads and stepdads is GENIUS!), and she loves it! She even says, "He needs his family." - I DIED! And aww, Rory makes Luke dinner! |

I've built her bookshelves, and fed her for years..."). And then Rory throws down the hammer! Her entire rant defending Luke's role as her father figure is GOLD! YAASSSSS QUEEN! |
| WizMonCruWil chapter 5 . 12/29/2018 I love how Lorelai just goes completely lovesick for Luke when she recalls all he has done for Rory. I think she falls for him not so much for what he has done for her, or even what he has done for the girls in the collective, but for how Luke has always been there for her kid. That is truly the magic of Luke: that he steps up and becomes a father to Rory even when it is not required of him. He even tries to deny it in Chapter 2: ("I'm by no means a father - to her or anyone. I'm not assuming that Rory and I would ever have that kind of a relationship..."; "I mean, you are like... the niece I wish I had. You are like... family") - so sweet! |

I totally love Luke and Lorelai together in the show but the way you write more this just made it so much better. I’m rewatching the show now and sometimes I get confused watching it about what the plot line is because I’m so invested in this story! Amazing job. |
