I have been reading your stories.. for.. forever it seems. I've been through your CCS, Naruto, Prince of Tennis, and god knows what else but the one thing these stories all have in common is... I loved every single one of them. Your writing ability and acute perception to the creators' characters' personalities/quirks/etc are oh-so, so much appreciated as these are qualities that make writers like you stand out. But I still can't get over the fact that I missed your Shaman King stories! I didn't even know you wrote for this fandom (love to Tina for sending this request, and love to thee for going through with it). And best of all, it's a HaoAnna one! I like YohAnna as well but there is something about HaoAnna that pulls me stronger... perhaps you just demonstrated it perfectly here.

I've had my fair share of reading this couple but yours is the first where ... for the first time, Hao is at peace with himself and at no sacrifice on Anna's part (well, besides the lack of Yoh). It's interesting to see that the happier he is, the more of Yoh's characteristics shows through him. His thought monologue was perfect. You made a simple house chore into one of the most interesting character/relationship analysis ever. And really, house chores was a running theme in Anna's relationship.. with Yoh at least so it's also symbolic. In the actual series and even in most of the fanfictions I've read, I've always saw Hao's fascination with Anna as just that. Fascination and someone who could finally understand him on some level - not love. If it was love then it was a twisted one but here, you gave it a very plausible basis and selfless, too.

But at the end there, I can't help but think shouldn't it be 'Something -warm- touched his heart at the word.' - not 'cold'? Because cold implies something numbing and not in the good way. But whatever, everything was perfection ; 0 ;
