frdbrlw1 chapter 1 . 3/24 The Prometheus class ship was a prototype testbed for reverse engineered alien technologies it was never made into production line as its design was a failure. They could never get the naquadria core to stabilize without overloading. It was only used after Thor reffitted it with asgard technology, hyperdrives, beam tech, and shields. Nauqada reactors don't run out of fuel they have a stable reaction wich lasts thousands of years, the only way it would need refueling is if you overloaded the reactor beyondd its rated output then it would burn out, like what carter did with sgc's mini reactor in one episode. |
selenepotter chapter 12 . 3/4 would have been more interesting if they had only been able to send the fleet targeting info on one ship at a time and other ships were accidentally destroyed because they were between the EA ships and the target. |
Difdi chapter 6 . 8/7/2019 The Minbari are wrong about nuclear weapons being exclusively used by the Narns and the Humans. The Shadows also use nukes, in their planet-killers. |
Difdi chapter 1 . 8/7/2019 You either have a critical mass of something or you don't. A critical mass of naquada or anything else isn't something that would develop in a ship's cargo hold from battle damage. The only possible way it could happen is if someone was teleporting more naquada into the hold as the ship took damage. Critical mass refers to the way radioactive materials can start the sort of reaction you normally need a nuclear reactor for all on their own without the reactor if you have too much of the material in one big pile. |
JOHN0713 chapter 29 . 10/13/2018 Very good enjoyed your storyline very much. |
bruceleeroythelastdragon chapter 29 . 7/6/2018 Awesome story, I hope to see more of it. |
Guest chapter 13 . 3/21/2015 Uh..not one of your better stories. Pacing is abysmal, dialogs choppy and stuttered and the inconsistencies in logic and plot are legion. I have read some of your other work and they stands head and shoulders above this. |
Guest chapter 10 . 1/12/2015 I'm on the side of EarthForce here. I hope they attack and seize the Achilles and take all their shield technology etc to save Earth. The pious moralising of Major Davis and the rest of the SG personnel is sickening. So because it will violate their version of a prime directive, they will allow potential millions of humans to die? When another colony world is exterminated by the Minbari and a few million humans wiped out cos EarthForce doesn't have good enough ships to protect it, I hope they send Major Davis to explain...sanctimonious asshole. |
Guest chapter 9 . 9/7/2014 Major Davis has read all the sg1 mission reports so he knows about alternate realities and timelines he should of figured out by now what was going on |
Shin1gam1 chapter 29 . 8/23/2014 Great Work! |
NightWithMoon chapter 13 . 7/18/2014 that's something else that's been bothering me... is how long they've taken to fire the main gun, in a real conflict they wouldn't have held it back and the only reason you have is because you want to over dramatize everyone's reactions to the weapon. |
NightWithMoon chapter 7 . 7/18/2014 ummm. The wiki says that a 1 gigaton nuke was ineffective against goa'uld shields in season one... a lot of the numbers you're using in this story just aren't right. |
NightWithMoon chapter 2 . 7/18/2014 Should have said this last chapter... but hitting a nuclear bomb with a missile won't set it off - it takes rather precise coordination to apply uniform pressure around the fissile material - now I will honestly say that I don't know if hitting it with a plasma bolt would set it off or not, but from what I do know it wouldn't have... |
NightWithMoon chapter 1 . 7/18/2014 Ok... firstly what happened to naquadria? After all the radiation given by a naquadria bomb is all that's needed to start converting naquadah... also alpha centauri is right on our doorstep if it took an hour to charge the engines to go less than five light years then it would take an eternity to get anywhere... Finally if you're stopping in empty space to allow engines to charge then you really shouldn't do it near a system - there's tons and tons of empty space and the likely-hood of running into anyone there drops dramatically. Other than those few things I have trouble believing (in the context of the story - sounds funny to say it that way when I'm not questioning stargates and hyperspace, but you know what I mean) it's great so far. |
EffervescentNova chapter 29 . 7/12/2014 A sudden end. Was there a continuation? |
