Wow. Beautiful story-you really brought out Luke's emotions here, which is a completely stupid thing for me to say and doesn't at all cover how touching this story is, but that's about all my brain's coming up with at the moment.

But you know that I love all your stories. Yes, even the ones where you kill off Luke or Mara and make me depressed for the remainder of the day. But even then I recognize that the death scenes are brilliantly written. ;)

I like this one very much because nobody dies. Yea! As a mother of two little boys I can understand how parents are fearful for their children's well-being. You captured Luke's love for his family and his fear for their future perfectly. And he has cause to worry, poor little Ben has already been kidnapped by an evil Senator, he survived the Vong war and I am sure his future will probably include a host of evil clones, Sith Lords, or terrifying aliens.

Wonderful! I've always been a huge fan of your work - I especially loved "Redemption"... it was INCREDIBLE! And I'm glad to say that this new vignette lived up to all your other pieces. Wow. Absolutely loved how you depicted the sense of being determined even through such enormous sorrow. "...as I looked through Obi-Wan’s [eyes], and saw both sorrow and determination ..." and "She’s smiling, but there is sad fierceness in her eyes." were my favourite lines. Great work! *hugs*
