For English as a second language, you write exceptionally well. :] I like the idea of this pairing, and the way you've described the world in which the characters live.

As for ideas, since you said that you didn't feel a connection to this fic anymore (which I understand, though am quite sad about! I was enjoying your characterization of both Dilandau and Celena quite a bit!), perhaps... A bit of a rebirth of Celena is in order? She does come from that Schezar stock, so that pesky adventurer gene could rear its head, leading to some interesting outcomes... But I don't know. It's all up to you. :]

Escaflowne was the first fandom I wrote in, but that was back when I was 13-14, so there were quite a few Mary Sues involved... :P

Y'know, I always thought a DC pairing a bit.. well, weird to say the least. But this is good. Awesome. Peachy keen (sorry, couldn't resist..). I loved the "Dilandau overhearing Celena & Millerna's conversation"-part. Made me go 'squee'. Love the intros, too.

So, I'm very eagerly waiting for the next chapter.

I love the changes you've made! Not that it wasn't good to start with, but I like even better now. You've changed qutie a few things that weren't so clear in the first version and made them more obvious. At this point, I only have one question; If Dilandau was going to use the horse to get to Freid, why did he return it? Now he'll have to go on foot. You may be thinking somewhere along the lines of, "He did it so he wouldn't have to keep dodging Asturia," but he moves so much, they would never find him anyway. I'm looking forward to seeing more int he near future. 'Till next chapter!

I must say that this has always been one of my favorite fics, though I've never really had a chance to review it before now. Celena and Dilandau tend to be such neglected characters, at least in the sense of being done /well/, and I think, AU or not, you've done a marvelous job of writing their interactions and personalities out. I can't wait til' you finish writing the story and post the next chapters up; from what's up so far, though, I'm sure the wait will be worthwhile! :] Keep it up!

nice job. The story's moving along charmingly and I rather enjoyed this chapter. It only increases my interest at how Dilandau's going to be in this fic and how Celena (poor girl) is going to deal with all the madness. Dilandau's as charming as he usually is and the last part left me in intrigue and suspense. What is he still doing there? Great job. Keep on writing.
