An incredibly beautiful story. I appreciate that though Aragorn was hurtful to Legolas at times, he was never the bad guy, and that he always regretted his actions afterwards. There are so many moments I could cite (the last chapter nearly had me bawling) but one of my favorites was the 10 years comparison between Legolas and Sarambaq. Ten years of dwelling on a hurt, Sarambaq has nothing but hate, but Legolas has nothing but love. Wonderful job. I enjoyed reading it immensely.

A wise man (probably) once said that there is no such thing as perfection. I did believe that was true, before I encountered your writing. But now I think that this is the one exception to that rule. This story is truly what fanfiction should be known by. Not the crude stories, making bad use of the best characters and settings, but expanding on what the author did not or could not have the time to make. I'm happy that you continue to respond to reviews, and I hope you will respond to mine. I have my PMs turned off for private reasons, but again if you would honor me with a word on a review with one of my stories, I would be truly touched. This story and the "In Shadow Realm" will go up in my mind as one of the best stories I have ever been privileged to read, and yes, this includes Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, the Chronicles of Narnia, and all the other greats. I truly am not exaggerating. Sometimes I'm saddened that this old fashioned style of writing is not really accepted in the world today. Aragorn was, from the minute I read him in the books, my favorite character in Lord of the Rings. I have never been into Legolas, but reading your stories have made me think of him in a whole new way. Aragorn and Legolas's amazing friendship has never been said out, point blank, but I think that we can assume that it's real. Their friendship in this story will be the friend that I will strive to be, though I hope that I'll never have to get kidnapped, suffer the world ending, and endure many close encounters with death to get their haha. Sorry for the long review. This was amazing.

I've read your Shadow book, so I'm pretty sure that the boat is actually a surprise for Aragorn, but I totally wish I could run, full speed, into this fanfiction story and yell to Aragorn that DON'T WORRY HE WON'T LEAVE YOU!

Oh no you're definitely responsible for damage inflicted on my poor heart. Oh goodness, poor legolas, poor Aragorn, seriously your writing is amazing, as good as Tokien himself as I have said in earlier reviews. This is amazing. I loved Aragorn finally letting himself go free on the horse ride. I've ridden a horse a few times before and I have to say, the speed really is invigorating. I think I'm a Rohirrim at heart.

HAHAHAAHAHA I FIGURED IT OUT! Funnily enough when he mentioned the son of the king my first thoughts went to Legolas! Great story so far.
