This is a serious exploration of the dark side of things in your Misfits universe... Will Spyke eventually fall into darkness forever, or is there still some sort of good left in him which will appear later on? (Sheesh, sounds a bit like the thing with Darth Vader, doesn't it? :P )

well... i think i read a story after this was written but i must say i'm really hating the new evan daniels. the only reason i went along and read this was because i thought his conscience will actually make him turn on the Hellions. well... thats not going to be happening now is it. better off that way i guess. anyways.. great story.. take care and keep up the good work.

Hey! This was an interesting turn of events! Empath was the traitor (no surprise)! No not only does he work for Magneto, he's conspiring with others to take over the Acolytes AND the Hellfire Club! And now Cypher has joined the Institute! I'll bet the X-Men won't be very trusting towards him considering his past.

Yes, you are correct. Sinister has yet to cross the Inner Circle. I had gotten this Inner Circle confused with the comics' Inner Circle, which has been burned by trusting strangers.

Anyway, Red Witch: If I may say so, you are brilliant. I thought that there wasn't really a spy. It was all a set-up to test Evan; however, I like this scenario much better.

I look forward to seeing Doug adjust to the insanity of the Institute, and the Pit for that matter. I also look forward to seeing what Jack kept the X-Men and Misfits busy doing. If you follow the comics canon, then we might be seeing the Savage Land or the High Evolutionary, or you could do something new. Any of those scenarios fills me with anticipation.

As a last note, I am happy that Doug is- or will be- an X-Man, and I am happy that Emma worried that Evan killed him. Emma differs from the other members of the Inner Circle in that she has a heart, albeit a shriveled one, whereas the others let theirs die long ago. I am happy that the New Mutants are (mostly) together, although I am now worrying for Doug's fate. May he escape his comics fate!

How's Lance is going to take it? Will he recognize Doug & Kitty's buddy/ close cousin (well, her father to his uncle) relationship, or will we be seeing jealousy that's been simmering since Piotr's defect?

Heh, i jus finished the story and reviewed chapter 10 when i realized that i read part of the story wrong heh i thought that they were still trying to distract the x-men and misfits, but then i reread part of it and realized that they were already distracted.

Uh...Blackjack I have no idea who he is. But Mastermind? Uh...Red Witch, you DO realize what was his role in the Dark Phoenix saga, right? Then that means...oh boy. Forget screwing over the Hellfire Club! The X-Men, the Hellfire Club, and Magneto are all going to screwed royally. Even with the Destiny Stones, I'm very frightened...especially since every mutant combined is hardly a match for a satanic firebird. /

And I agree with Rift120; if the power failure wasn't an indication of the Savage Lands, the only other thing that could be brought into your universe is the satillite Sinister built with the High Evolutionary.
