Jake should slaughter her guards, too. Then they will see what needs to be done, not this one on one when you are ready challenges.

In any other story, I would beg; Not Cassie, anyone but her! but I can see she is the least needed here. and it might drive Jake insane enough to go berserk on the enemy. though I think she should have morphed for the fight.

Don't apologize for the story developing slowly. it's nice for them to breathe, to have a little bit of prep time, and to actually get to experience their relationships just a bit.

First I want to say thanks for getting something to work for distinguishing thought-speech. too many stories fail, and it gets really confusing. Second - I've really enjoyed the story so far! I can't wait to see what this cliffhanger is hiding :)

Oh my goodness! I love how you fixed it! It was perfect! You didn't start in the middle of the series, you like, picked up the severed string that was book 54... and you fixed it! So awesome! :D
