I loved it. Sad to see Jonathan go but a realistic way to deal with it on Martha and Clark's behalf. Bery nicely written.

Oh, my gosh! This totally made me tear up! The tragedy is that the grandfather can't openly know and didn't mend his fences with Jonathan sooner. I'm also glad that this seems to be in the distant future instead of Jonathan kicking the bucket while Clark was a senior in high school. I much prefer the "Lois and Clark" scenario where Jonathan is still very much alive and kicking...

This line hit home for me…"I had a good life. I had love. I had you." It just brought it down to what is important.

It hurt even so I do understand why Clark/Supes couldn’t be there for his father’s funeral…which will no doubt hurt him forever…but then again that was one lesson he learned from his father, self sacrifice…

Wow. I hate it when Jonathan dies in a story, but that one was really beautifully written. A fitting tribute to a great character.

Great story. Incredibly well written (although, just to be incredibly nit-picky, the "And we are seriously have to talk" line looks like it needs correcting in some way). The fact that the story didn't go in for any cheap tear-jerking tactics made it all the more realistic and moving. Really liked the depiction of Clark.
