This had me laughing hard! Especially that Sauron came to the dentist in full LOTR garb. I personally don't mind the dentist, but then again, I have never had a cavity. But I know that's not all that common and enjoyed reading about misery the evil dentist caused thrown right back at him. Excellent work!

In all honesty, I've only ever had one bad experience with the dentist, and that was when I had to get a tooth pulled, and the dentist spilled the novacaine, numbing every place in my mouth *except* the tooth he was going to pull and the two on either side.

Needless to say, I screamed.

Too bad the Mouth killed Karl though. I mean, his torture idea was a very good one!

And if Sauron has budget problems I'm sure he could just send a couple fo evil minions too raid and pillage and plunder their weasly black guts out.

I doubt he would have a problem with that.

I don't have anything against dentists, but I enjoyed this story very much all the same. Very original and entertaining, and I quite like how your use of the language almost contrasts the ideas and the quirky sense of humour of the piece.

Ha! I love this. This is one of the first fics to really make me laugh in a while. The only problem is, I'm going to the dentist this week, to fix some stuff that happened when I broke my jaw a few months ago. I got RoTK for Christmas and looking at the Mouth of Sauron I felt a new sense of contentment with the way things where, having four teeth chiped and my mouth wired shut. Great job, keep up the good work!

Ouch! I think I'll avoid my dentist for a while. This story will certainly pop up in my head if I dare visit him.

I saw ROTK:EE exactly one hour ago. Up until I read this, I was crying my eyes out over it. My mother got fed up after about 45 minutes of my wails and told me to do something to cheer myself up.

So I read this fic.

Anyways, on to the actual review. While I was watching the movie, I was thinking the same thing. The Mouth of Sauron needed to see a dentist. Badly. So badly it made me feel sick. I think he has the worst teeth in the trilogy.

Let me see...what can I say about this? It all amused me. Although I don't enjoy my visits to the dentist, I've never gone quite so far as to murder one...

Good point about the orcs. I mean, picture a fearsome-looking orc, about to chop the head off of an extra, and when he growls, his teeth glint cheesily like in those Orbit commercials. Come on, it's just not happening.

LOL the Hand of Sauron. I wonder what the job of the Foot of Sauron is? The Knee of Sauron? The Ear of Sauron'd be a spy, I suppose...and the Nose of Sauron would buy aromatherapy candles and Glade Plug-ins...okay, I'm having way too much fun with this.

Ahem. The blindness comments amused me, as did the sadistic dentist. Can you imagine what would happen if they took over the world? *shudders*

This was very funny, and successfully prevented me from flooding the house. Evil dentists! I'm not sure when my next appointment is, but I'm going to have my wisdom teeth pulled soon...oh joy, another fun visit to look forward to...anyways, thanks a lot! _

I hardly know where to begin. The whole idea is great; 'The Mouth of Sauron goes to the dentist' was a summary that caught my attention at once. For a moment, I pondered such a meeting and what would entail, and then I read your story, which surpassed everything that I had imagined. It was hilarious.

Overall, my favorite paragraph was the one dealing with Ron Sau's headgear, but I loved the little details. The 'fifteen victims', the diplomatic missives, the standard lecture on brushing twice daily, the 'succession of sharp, stabbing pains'. . .all highly amusing. The final paragraph finished the story on a happy note, which I appreciated.

Hilarious! A well-writen comedic piece! ROFL.

But I do feel sorrow for you if you ever had experiences like that with any dentist...
