I do hope that Harry had some free will when he was doing it. I know that Harry wouldn't like to live with himself if he fired the killing curse onto Voldemort, wouldn't like to see the world praising The-Boy-Who-Lived hypocritically (remember all the positive/negative press he received through years), wouldn't like to see people rejoicing because of death of one human while corruption and prejudices still thrive. And I agree that now, after the war, people should live their lives, and fight for freedoms and equality, against prejudices, without murders and deaths. Don't kill people because they are Death Eaters, but punish people for murders and tortures they have done, and take into account extenuating circumstances, such as family members taken as hostages, and other kinds of compulsion and misinformation.

So, the Dark Mark cannot be seen by others unless the person specifically chooses to show it? But wouldn't Mad-Eye Moody see it with his magical eye?
