one thing that always bothered me with canon is the fact that molly steamrolled over everybody. she is a GUEST at grimmauld place, but yet she makes all the rules and is telling everybody what to do. i dont usually like hardcore bashing fics, but i do like ones when molly gets a bit of a reality check as she is quite overbearing at times

Griff's play Slytherin so AUTOMATICALLY Ravenclaw will play Hufflepuff. There are only four teams... And there are ONLY two games in the fall, before bad weather sets in. If Lions play Snakes then you should not be in Ravenclaw if you can't figure out WHO the other two teams are!

Harry did not KNOW Fleur on her birthday last year. He was still "a leetle boy" to her. You have not written that they had a conversation about her birthday, so (in ficworld) he does not know. (If you do not write it, itdoes not exist)

Umbridge, in the BOOKS, has steel gray hair, and wears a BLACK bow. The tiny size of the bow is what gives her the appearance of a large, fat, toad with a FLY ON HER HEAD!. Howis a pink bow supposed to accomplish that?!
The movies suck! Way to many deviations and liberties taken. The casting person should literally be hanged. Outside of the core, ten or twelve most important characters, the choices were horrible.

Again with the changing of stuff that doesn't need screwed with! Canon is the stuff that makes the potterverse what it is, and THEN you go and change the plots and do what you will with the players.
Why switch the bronze eagle door knocker that asks riddles to make Ravenclws THINK more?! You have an ok idea, but why can that possibly matter to your plot? Spend your time writing about Fleur or Harry, and quit mucking with the building, the furnishings, or whether water is wet and the sky- blue.

I usually like Arthur, but not if you turn him into a ministry stooge, fear mongering, propagada hound. That fidelius charm makes everything that happens in that house undetectable to the ministry. You can't even remember that a house EXISTS unless you are shown the "secret". Kingsley and Arthur are the only ministry employees that know there IS number 12 Grimauld. (Moody is retired)

Who cares where screwtape comes from. The purebloods who run the ministry (exclusively) would never accept a goblin having a JOB there. If he was his Solicitor or something, but worked for Gringotts, then ok. A goblin couldn't walk (portkey) into the Atrium without armor, an axe, and a hundred similarly clad 'friends'.

So now I'm guessing Peter kidnapped Fleur's mother, and is polyjuiced as her when 'she' comes home from wherever she is supposed to be. That's why 'she' is so nice, now. Because HE doesn't know how she acts to her kids.
