Painfully beautiful. It's rare to see a fanfic that has put so much effort to make it as close as possible to the original anime, not to mention that it is nicely written as well. Showing glimpses of Aoshi's experiences (but not stretching it too much to make it look draggy) also makes the hurt more real, since the story is shown in words and not comics. One cannot help but like it simply because it's a GOOD READ. :)

I printed it out many years ago, got it from some other site...this was and still is one of my favourite Aoshi/Misao stories ever...

so yeah, just wanted to...let you know, if you even check this...that I love your story, and I've loved it for over 5 years ...

I wish I knew if you still write, or not, but really, thank you for this great story _ I really really enjoyed it.. it's well written and well paced, with a decent plot )

Ooh, very very good! It was a beautiful story and I really liked the plotline. Well done in terms of organizing and the general flow of ideas. Actually, it was a prtty interesting topic for this, and i think it's really appropriate to Aoshi/Misao. I'm amazed with how you made everything work out and the emotions in the words were incredible. I almost cried ;) and I don't do that often. so a thumbs up for you and keep up the good work!

This is the most beautiful A/M fic that I've ever read and it even made me cry! Great job and I love the Jane Austen quote.

*sniffles* I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet. I read it a while back and put it on my fav's. It's really such a beautiful, beautiful story. I love the title and the quotes you chose at the head of each chapter. So...ethereal, in a way.

Wowe it was really great but you may wanna change the rating form like g\G to Pg-13. wont report you I think people who do that should go to hell oh well urved the story

Okay, I adore the fic but you're gonna get SO busted with that rating! could delete it or take away your account so at the least rate it PG-13, perhaps R. So change it so I can re-read this again sometime!

Honestly, this is not my #1 AM fic. But this is the only one fic with a concept that I 98% agree. And sure, very well written too.

But wait a sec! It's just me or this fic really tells that Misao is Aoshi's 1st... whatever they named it. Or I'll just pretend it to be that way _

Last, why don't you make some AM fic again? It's been forever :)

I loved this story when it first debuted on the AMML, rough ending and all! The polished version is, needless to say, even better still. A truly beautifully-written piece!
