This is a well written story and the character Rafel is well written and believable, and it is true to the movies.

I really like your story! It's very beautiful, in all its sorrow. Touching too. Legolas volunteering to go for that mission kinda reminded me of that scene in Pearl Harbor where Alec Baldwin asked the heroes if they knew what a classified mission was. Ben Affleck said...It's the kind of mission where you get medals but they send them to your family instead. Anyway, I haven't read the rest of your stories, so here I go!

I like it! When you think about it, Legolas *did* do a rather hasty and foolish thing by just volunteering all of a sudden. Didn't really think about the repurcussions, did he? _ Also, I felt so sorry for Rafel. This was beautifully-written, and I loved the references to the movie. Well done!
