Sheppard hugging? Saying "shoo"? Naaaaaaaa!

I'm not sure I understand why authors feel the need to use GD in their fics, when the characters on the show NEVER EVER EVER did. GD is so vile and it breaks a commandment. There is never a need to use it - NEVER. You could leave the God off and it would still be as effective. I don't know how many good fics are completely ruined by that particular cuss word. It is disgusting in an otherwise very good story. I'm sorry you have lowered yourself to such a level especially since it is obvious you have "word talent" and can very adequately describe a scene. That you have to resort to using THAT word makes you less of a writer. I hope in the future you will think about that before using that word. Whether you believe it or not, God takes you using GD in a fanfic just as wrong as if you said it your own self.

strted off well but not much story to it and found the rescue a bit difficult to swallow. Thought the end was a little weak and out of character -can't see John hugging Rodney even if he did save his life.

This has got to be an AU version. But it was good. Thanks for sharing.

LOL.. There's nothing I like more than some good Shep whump, combined with Mckay friendship and Weir caring. This was just so brilliant. You brought their relationship full circle at the end and that's as it should be.
