You are truly an amazing writer. This entire story has shown your flair for putting together words creatively, and a talent for description. Not only are the emotions crystally vivid, but the scenery, appearances, and settings are also amazingly well done. I am also really enjoying how, that despite everything some of the characters have gone through, that you have ended it on a happy note, filled with Christmas spirit. The only qualm I saw with the plot was Angelina's utter forgiveness of her husband's infedility. It is wonderful that she was able to forgive him, but when anyone stays within a relationship devoid of trust, particularly one where their spouse has committed adultery, a medically dangerous thing in this day and age with the prevalence of STDs, then they are really allowing themself to be abused. Angelina is a strong character, and for her to stay with him, thereby condoning the abuse, is a bit too out-of-character for her. I mean this only as constructive criticism because I really do see what you were trying to do, by showing that she was a strong women for staying with him for the sake of their child, but the logic I think was a bit flawed. After all, loyalty is a trait that her husband clearly lacked, and would Angelina really want her son being raised by someone with such a flaw? I doubt it. Plus, she is taking a huge risk of exposing her son to even worse transgressions later on in her and her husband's marriage, because who is to say that he would not commit the same mistakes again? Either way this was an excellent story, I was just a bit disappointed with Angelina's decision, because it would have been more fitting with her persona to have left her husband, while forgiving him enough to remain friends. Even had she left, her forgiveness of him so that they could remain friends for the sake of their son would have been heart warming. :) Perhaps more heart warming since the reader would know that she would not be doomed to always wind up feeling slighted, with the pain of her husband's transgression lingering within. However, kudos to you for really drawing the reader into this story! It really takes a lot for me to get riled up about a fictional character's decisions, and you have masterfully managed to do just that. I can't wait to read the sequel!
