I think I read this piece some time ago (on another site maybe) and I still get a kick out of it. Methos' and Duncan's attitudes toward quickening so do not reflect in how other people view them. Still waters, eh?

This is not at all what I would have expected of Duncan...which makes it kind of wonderful. I love how different his perspective is from Methos'.

Hmm, interesting...I like the comparison you have between Methos and Duncan with what they think about Quickenings. I'm starting to think it all has, in part, to do with how old you are too. I mean, they're comparing someone whose 5,0 to someone whose 400...there is bound to be differences of opinion.

Whoa...Duncan is seriously messed up. And of course, Methos knows that Duncan is reading the book..he has to. It's hard to get anything past the old man.

Oh. That would be why. Maybe it's different for each Immortal? Their subconscious interprets what they THINK it should be like and makes it so? Food for thought, that's for sure.

LOL! This piece is a great accompaniment to 'To Ride the Lightening'. It was amusing to see the difference of perspective and opinions.

It's cool. The differences in how they interpret the Quickening is a neat idea. Keep on writing, b/c at the very least, I liked it :-)
