Barranca chapter 1 . 9/10/2008 I think I read this piece some time ago (on another site maybe) and I still get a kick out of it. Methos' and Duncan's attitudes toward quickening so do not reflect in how other people view them. Still waters, eh? |
SomeoneElsesDream chapter 1 . 7/17/2008 This is not at all what I would have expected of Duncan...which makes it kind of wonderful. I love how different his perspective is from Methos'. Great fic! |
Sci F.I. Warper chapter 1 . 12/28/2006 Hmm, interesting...I like the comparison you have between Methos and Duncan with what they think about Quickenings. I'm starting to think it all has, in part, to do with how old you are too. I mean, they're comparing someone whose 5,0 to someone whose 400...there is bound to be differences of opinion. |
Kyra2 chapter 1 . 10/2/2003 Whoa...Duncan is seriously messed up. And of course, Methos knows that Duncan is reading the book..he has to. It's hard to get anything past the old man. |
Tonia Barone chapter 1 . 9/25/2001 Oh. That would be why. Maybe it's different for each Immortal? Their subconscious interprets what they THINK it should be like and makes it so? Food for thought, that's for sure. |
Kathryn Angelle chapter 1 . 3/3/2001 Good counterpoint, showing the Imitation Highlander for the Quickening-hungry Connor-killer he really is. Adds balance to Methos' version. |
Rainfall chapter 1 . 2/27/2001 LOL! This piece is a great accompaniment to 'To Ride the Lightening'. It was amusing to see the difference of perspective and opinions. |
KJB chapter 1 . 2/27/2001 It's cool. The differences in how they interpret the Quickening is a neat idea. Keep on writing, b/c at the very least, I liked it :-) |
