| thoroughlymodernJulie chapter 1 . 8/21/2007 I will say right out that I am not a huge fan of the PD movies, and the only reason I watch them is so I can see Julie sparkle and shine. What's more, I loathe most PD fanfics- but yours is truly amazing. It's written the way I want the films to really be- from Clarisse's perspective, with her emotions and feelings. I really like your style of writing. Instead of making it into a "real life" fairy tale so to speak, as so many others do, you apply real thoughts that just might be going through Clarisse's mind. I love that. She's like a "normal" person, with normal worries, fears, thoughts, memories, heartaches, confusions, and most of all, love. My kudos to you for making me *want* to keep reading this. Great job, I hope you keep going on it, and good luck with college! |
