why am I being so mortifyingly reminded of my own former dating life as I read your deftly written account of Hermoine and Severus's cringeworthy thoughts and behavior on their date?

It's the third sshg fic I've read on The mistletoe theme and it is the most humorous of the lot. I esp. enjoyed the favourite headache potion line. A beautiful romantic comedy.

I love how Snape started it with his pathetically juvenile "assertion of mastery" over Hermione then whines to himself that nothing was going right. Doesn't he have a mirror?
