Wow. A very poignant story. I really liked the little scenes and how it all culminated at the end. Yes, I can feel for Mikey's sorry at Tara's murder, but he's right. They can't save everyone, but they can try and save as many as possible. Nicely done on this once again, Jayde. You're awesome at this stuff.

Wow, that was good. I was having a little difficulty reading this at first, cause i got nervous, and was like "nothing bad happens, right?", but still, it was a nice ending.

Very good characterisation and Tara was an excellent character. I was shocked when she was murdered like that. Poor Mikey and his hero complex!

This story meshes well with Mike's sensitive, caring nature.

I could feel his pain when he learns what happened to Tara, and undestand why he feels he must try to protect others for his failure in seeing to her.

It is also true that, street people, run aways and street kids often come to a cold and bitter end with none the wiser.
